I am a versatile and passionate learner with a strong record in academics, leadership, and co-curricular activities.
I have been an exceptionally dedicated and active member of the Interaction Club, consistently demonstrating a deep commitment to community service and social impact.
My involvement spans a wide range of meaningful initiatives that have touched many lives.
I’m Aayaan Manchanda, a Grade 12 student at Lotus Valley International School, set to graduate in 2026 with a strong academic focus on Commerce, Economics, and Mathematics. My curiosity for business services has always pushed me to explore opportunities where I can combine leadership, creativity, and impact.
My passion for sustainability inspired me to create KALAECRAFT, a leadership project aligned with SDG-12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Through this initiative, I built two verticals around recycling and upcycling hotel bedsheets into usable products like bags, napkins, and coasters. Leveraging the skills I gained from the Meta Front-End Development Course, I even set up online marketing channels to sell these products.
Entrepreneurship for me goes beyond ideation—I’ve showcased my work at exhibitions hosted by leading hotels, including Radisson Blu, Northern Palace, Pushpak Palace, and Shiv DX. Alongside this, I’ve nurtured my interest in diplomacy and public speaking through several Model United Nations conferences and contributed to my school’s MUN as part of the Department of Delegate Affairs. A cultural exchange program in France further broadened my perspective on global learning and collaboration.
I’ve also gained hands-on experience through internships with Lynkube’s Young Leaders Program and ANB Auto India Pvt. Ltd., where I learned how leadership and innovation come together in real-world business. As Director of my school’s Business Learning Community, I continue to merge theory with action—whether by leading initiatives or volunteering at NGOs to teach children how to repurpose waste into useful items.
Each of these experiences has shaped me into someone who values leadership, innovation, and social responsibility, and I’m excited to carry these qualities forward into my future journey.
My greatest inspiration has been my father, whose dedication to serving the community through his food business left a lasting impact on me from a young age. Watching him go beyond just running a business—by supporting local causes, helping small vendors grow, and creating employment opportunities—taught me that entrepreneurship can be a powerful force for good. His ability to balance business success with social impact made me view leadership in a whole new light.
Motivated by his example, I began volunteering through my school’s Interact Club, where I got firsthand experience working with communities. Over time, as I engaged with people through NGOs and listened to real-life stories during internships, I felt a deep sense of purpose take root. These experiences shaped my belief that meaningful change starts with small, consistent efforts, and they continue to fuel my drive to build businesses that are both innovative and impactful.
